Posledný novembrový víkend sa konala posledná tohtoročná Akadémia mladých odborárov v spolupráci FES a KOZ SR. Mladí odborári a odborárky z celého Slovenska si vypočuli množstvo odborných diskusií o výzvach trhu práce s ohľadom na digitálne a klimatické zmeny, ako pracovať so Zákonníkom práce pri odborárskej činnosti, o ľavicových hodnotách, ale aj o prioritách KOZ SR a ministerstva práce do nasledujúceho volebného obdobia. Okrem toho popracovali aj na svojich argumentačných zručnostiach.
Akadémiu otvorili prezidentka KOZ SR Monika Uhlerová a viceprezident František Gajdoš spolu so zástupkyňou FES Zuzanou Homer, ako aj predsedom Rady mladých KOZ SR Ferdinandom Chomom. Úvod programu bol venovaný diskusii o sociálnych a ekonomických témach, najmä s ohľadom na programové vyhlásenie vlády. Zástupcovia KOZ SR predstavili ich priority v socálnej oblasti, čo budú presadzovať, ako budú viesť rokovania s novou vládou, a ktoré opatrenia sú pre odbory zásadné ako aj ich pretavenie do legislatívy.
Počas argumentačného tréningu si mladí odborári vyskúšali na vlastnej koži, ako funguje argumentácia. Vďaka tomu zistili, prečo je dôležitá, a čo sa ňou dá dokázať, keď ju vedia použiť správne. Kľúčovým nástrojom pri odborárskej činnosti je vo všeobecnosti Zákonník práce, preto je potrebné, aby aj mladí odborári vedeli s ním pracovať. Druhá časť odborárskeho vzdelávania bola z tohto dôvodu venovaná tomu, ako Zákonník práce využívať pri zastupovaní zamestnancov a ako ho využiť pri argumetácii.
Na záver víkendu vedenie Rady mladých KOZ SR prezentovalo svoje plánované projekty a činnosť do ďalšieho kalendárneho roka s cieľom zviditeľnenia odborov. Rovnako bol predstavený nový projekt odborárskeho vzdelávania na rok 2024 organizovaný v spolupráci s FES a KOZ SR.
